Education Services
Psychoeducation for Parents
Understanding your child’s needs can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially when psychological reports, diagnoses, educational recommendations, and professional terminology are difficult to understand. This service provides guidance on psychological, behavioural, developmental, and learning-related concerns by translating technical language into simple, everyday terms that parents and caregivers can understand, regardless of their level of familiarity with psychological concepts or literacy challenges.
Psychoeducation consultations can also help parents determine appropriate next steps when concerns arise, even before a formal diagnosis has been made. If your child is experiencing difficulties with behaviour, attention, learning, emotions, social interaction, or development, a consultation can help identify possible areas of concern and provide information about suitable local supports, services, assessments, or referrals.
Individual Academic Support
Every child learns differently. For children with ADHD, autism, specific learning disorders, or other learning needs, traditional classroom approaches may not always provide the individual attention or flexibility they need to succeed.
At Mindful Measures, Individual Academic Support provides personalized one-on-one learning experiences designed around the child’s individual strengths, needs, learning style, and pace. Support can extend beyond music to core academic areas such as Mathematics, English Language Arts, reading, writing, and other areas of learning.
The goal is to help children build confidence, strengthen academic skills, develop greater independence, and experience success in learning.
